The care our dog received from Maureen and Em was excellent, with Em going above and beyond by staying out of hours to try to get the best outcome. They both explained things clearly, answered our many questions and were professional but compassionate throughout. We also felt the costs were very reasonable compared to other practices we've previously used.

After our previous vet practice closed down suddenly, we asked on our road for a vets they would recommend and use in the Barnet area. East Barnet Vets was highly recommended and used by almost everyone, so we didn't hesitate to bring our two cats, Luna and Benji. Our cat, Benji, had got into a fight with another animal before our visit and was given a course of medication to take to heal a wound. We returned for a follow up visit and given clear instructions on what needed to be done next. Dr Maureen Reiser was our vet and she was just amazing - kind, patient and explained everything so clearly. I would not hesitate to recommend East Barnet Vets to those looking for a vets in the Barnet area. I have been so happy with our visits so far and feel my cats are really well looked after here.

Yesterday I phoned because my cat was having difficulty swallowing. I got through straightaway to a receptionist who was kind and understanding and gave me an immediate appointment. At the appointment the vet was clear about the problem, the cost, and next actions and possible outcomes. My cat was treated and we took her home a few hours later. Some grass was lodged in her throat and she had lost a lot of weight. The cost of £275 was well worth it. Thank you so much for your compassionate care.

Very rude the receptionist , I called today to ask the price for an appointment . She asked me which vet I went before and I said that I went to pdsa (a charity vet) , so she said to me that she doesn’t have appointments for free I said im not asking to get an appointment for free I am asking the price . She said again that she doesn’t have appointment for free and when finally she told me the price she said that there are not appointments available and told me to go to another vet . So rude her behaviour as I never asked for a free appointment. So now I have appointment which another private vet.

We recently had our cat, Tirtil, spayed here and everything went incredibly smoothly. There were no problems at all, and she was already feeling great by the second day. A special thank you to her vet — unfortunately, we don’t remember her name, but she was a young woman who truly stood out. She was informative, helpful, and had such a positive attitude. It was clear she genuinely loves animals, and she made the whole experience even better for both us and Tirtil.

There is not words to express what a wonderful team at East Barnet Vet. Dr Rachel was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t be more thankful for her incredible, loving care. My little old cat titi had a hard time recovering from teeth surgery, Dr Rachel and the whole team helped us in every way possible.
