North London Veterinary Clinic, located in Barnet, Greater London, offers a range of veterinary services, including emergency care with extended hours. The clinic has a mixed reputation based on its Google Maps rating of 3.9 stars from 36 reviews. While this rating indicates a generally positive reception, it is crucial to delve into individual reviews for a more nuanced understanding.
Among the five available written reviews, a majority express high satisfaction, highlighting the clinic's dedication and expertise. Reviewers praise the lead veterinarian, Ray, for his empathetic approach, wealth of experience, and commitment to animal care. Leon Roy, a long-time client, recounts a life-saving experience where Ray provided immediate and effective treatment for a poisoned German Shepherd. Similarly, Michael P. emphasizes the vet's deep care and ability to manage complex cases, noting his dog's eagerness to visit the clinic despite previous uncomfortable procedures.
However, not all feedback is positive. Siobhan O'Connor's recent review criticizes the clinic's customer service, describing a rude interaction with the receptionist, which may raise concerns for potential clients.
Despite the mixed reviews, the consistently high praise for the veterinarian's expertise and dedication suggests that North London Veterinary Clinic is well-regarded for its hands-on care and depth of experience. While the clinic may benefit from improvements in customer service, its history of effective treatment and genuine care for animal welfare makes it a considerable option for pet owners in the area.

The receptionist did not know anything about how to register or pricing, was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me! I couldn't believe it! Will not be taking my dog here.

We've been relying on Ray and his clinic for over two decades now. He not only dealt with our two cats and two german shepherds through their ups and downs he literally saved the life of our german shepherd after she ingested poison. He was available to us within 30 mins of the episode (on a weekend evening no less), took our animal in and spent the night pumping her stomach and providing her the necessary care and treatment to see her pull through. Excellent vet, empathetic and with a wealth of experience we will be forever grateful for.

I have had the benefit of using this VET for three years since the arrival of our puppy. I have to say some of these negative reviews seem quite unfair. The place is not dirty or unsanitary. But more importantly this vet is really excellent in terms of his knowledge and experience (we have dealt with some complicated issues here concerning our dog), his mannerism with our dog and he very obviously cares deeply about his animal patients. Notwithstanding the fact that our dog has been through some uncomfortable procedures and is poked and prodded whether he is at this vet, our dog is genuinely happy and excited to walk through the door and see him, such is the mannerisms and care this man shows towards the dog, and our dog is not always easy to make friends with. By way of comparison, I have taken the dog to another vet who seemed to have little idea how to handle him and our dog tried to bite him (he would never bite this vet).

Finally a vet who cares! Very happy to swap cushioned seats in the waiting area for an actual sincere care from a practitioner with what seems like decades of experience. Really happy we found him. Don't trust fancy pretty vets in our area, honestly didn't have a great experience with most. This guy I could trust my own health to, not only my dog. Highly recommend.
